2008 Publication

To our valued advertisers,

It has come to our attention that there has been some confusion about different directories operating in the area. Some advertisers have purchased ads believing they were for our directory when in fact they were for other publications.

The Union Labor Directory has been presented by the Missouri State Building & Construction Trades Council for over 18 years. At present we are aware of no other directory in the state which is actually sponsored by any union. Our directory functions as a resource for union officials & members as well as many public governmental bodies. Our publication contains many helpful resources such as directories of local labor councils, building trades council affiliated locals, Missouri Senators & Representatives, building & construction trades signatory contractors and a general directory of AFL-CIO affiliated labor unions in Missouri. It also contains information on labor laws and a listing of building trades contract wage rates by county. This directory is also important to us as a buyers guide.

Other directory names may sound similar. When we call you to renew your ad we are very specific about whether or not you have advertised with us in the past. All of our paperwork clearly states the Union Labor Directory name & is very specific as to what you are buying. If you have any questions about who is calling and/or your advertising history feel free to contact us at 1-888-741-2327 and we will be happy to assist you.

We appreciate your support & work hard to see that it does not go unnoticed.

Thank You,
The Union Labor Directory
